iProperty.com Malaysia, the country’s No.1 property portal which operates under the iProperty Group, today officially opened an office in Penang, Malaysia. The opening of the new branch was in line with the company’s expansion initiative to increase its presence in key growth markets.
According to Shaun Di Gregorio, Chief Executive Officer of the iProperty Group, the new office will be focusing principally on providing real estate agents and developers in the northern region a platform to further engage with the team at iProperty.com Malaysia.
“The objective of our presence in Penang is to participate in the growth of local markets while at the same time offering an improved service in this region to our local and international customer. With the opening of the new office, it takes us closer to our customers and partners in Penang’s rapidly evolving city,” said Di Gregorio at the opening of the office, which was also witnessed by key developers and real estate agents.
He added that with Penang experiencing rapid economic growth, the state is fast becoming an attractive destination that lures local and foreign visitors who want to own a property here.
“We firmly believe that with a local presence, we will be able to understand the needs of not just our agents and developers but also our consumers. At iProperty.com Malaysia, we continuously strive to maintain a local approach in our business dealings. It’s via this understanding, have we successfully established ourselves as the No.1 property portal in Malaysia,” added Di Gregorio
He elaborated that the new office also provides iProperty.com Malaysia with the perfect platform to offer more value to customers.
“We do so by constantly organising various training and learning sessions that offer great insights into the property market. These sessions also provide our agents an avenue to gather and network to exchange and share knowledge on the industry,” said Di Gregorio.
He further added that the branch in Penang forms an important part of iProperty.com Malaysia’s growth strategy and was confident the team in Penang will continue to further expand and provide assistance to customers in the northern states.
“We have a strong track record in supporting our customers in the Klang Valley and since we organised the Mapex Penang 2012 together with REHDA Penang, we have received overwhelming response and feedback from real estate agents and developers. Hence we will be looking to build on this over the coming months as we set out to attract new customers. We believe this track record, combined with our international experience and strong brand presence provides a compelling proposition for local businesses,” concluded Di Gregorio
Aside from that, he also added that the new office is part of the company’s regional expansion plans to further grow and strengthen the iProperty Group’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
The iProperty.com Malaysia Penang branch is located at a strategic and easily accessible location in Bayan Lepas making it a convenient destination for customers.
